man providing ac repair service to an outdoor unitAs the temperatures continue to rise in El Paso, knowing where to find reliable AC repair service can be very convenient. Though the temperatures haven’t reached summer highs, having your AC break down right before Memorial Day isn’t ideal. If you are hosting barbecues, having guests over, or even if you are just planning to enjoy the holiday at home, hot air blowing out of your AC is far from comfortable.

Reasons for Hot Air

Sometimes the reasons for hot air blowing out of your AC is simple. It could be that your unit is simply running low on refrigerant. Being able to correctly choose the right refrigerant for your unit and refill it can be a complicated process depending on the type of unit you have. Another common problem when your AC is blowing hot air can be with your condenser or coils. Either way, both of these repairs are best handled by professionals in order to avoid causing more damage, which can be more expensive to repair.

I’ve been having this problem recently. Getting rid of the hot air the AC is blowing doesn’t sound like it’s too big of a problem. Though it sounds like it’s something I could do for myself, I think it would be a good idea to call a professional to also check if there isn’t a bigger problem.
